The Pregnant Dancer and The Prayer Circle

There was so much joy in the strip clubs tonight! The girls get really excited and feel super loved and seen when we arrive with presents for the holidays.

We saw a few girls we hadn’t seen in a while who practically jumped for joy when they saw us. And we were well received by everyone in all three clubs.

But my assignment of the night was A. She and I haven’t met before, but she was keen to talk with me after I broke the ice with a gift. This young woman was so sweet.

She said she goes to church so I explained the difference between going to church and having a relationship with Jesus. She was all ears. I asked her if she would like to receive Him into her heart, but she didn’t feel comfortable doing it at the club. I was pretty persistent, but seeing her hesitancy, I asked if I could just pray over her and lay my hands on her.

Wow! Holy Spirit showed up! Of course He did. When I was done, A was giggling and said she felt warm and cared for. She couldn’t believe how good she felt.

Then she told me she is 20 weeks pregnant! So I prayed again for her baby with my hand on her belly. As soon as I touched her, I had a vision of a strong baby boy. A man of God. That slipped out during my prayers and she nearly started crying with joy.

As she stood there completely blissed out, I gave her my phone number and a copy of my book from my bag. She texted me straight away.

The next two clubs after that were dead, thank God, but I had the opportunity to pray again! In the dressing room of the tiny club I’m standing in front of, all three girls were keen to receive prayer. And not only that, but they all huddled around me and then Carolyn joined us, all holding hands in a circle while I prayed. It was so special!

We weren’t at the third club long, but said hello to a few ladies and left our gifts for them and the doorman. Then we prayed our cleansing prayer and headed home.

All the way home I felt so blessed for the opportunities to witness to so many people recently. It’s literally the only thing in the world I want to do…travel, minister to women, and share the joy of Jesus.

Well, everyone got a Joy impartation tonight! Thank you, Jesus, for being with us!!!
