On Monday the Lord told me to do two things.
First, reach out to the dancer in the hotel I’ve been ministering to, and take her some more food. Second, to go strip club evangelizing Thursday as well as my usual Saturday night.
Straight away, I reached out to my dancer and never received a response. I thought it was strange as the Lord had given me specific instructions as to when to go see her and what food to take. I knew something was off. All I could do was follow the next instruction to go out Thursday. And that I did!
Thankfully, my dancer was there. Turns out the day the Lord told me to reach out to her, she dropped her phone in the bathtub. The enemy was clearly at play. I see you, Satan.
She showed me her new phone, I prayed over her and we exchanged numbers again. This time the devil won’t be stopping me.
In the dressing room, I had another encounter. A woman I prayed over about a month ago at another club, ran up to me and wouldn’t stop hugging me. As I held her, she was whispering all these amazing things in my ear. She told me she sees what we’re doing by bringing God into those places, and she said to never stop going because sinners need Jesus. She kept thanking me over and over, saying what we do makes a difference.
Then, she shared that she’s been wanting to end her life. Which cannot happen because she has six kids!
Recently, on a very rough day, she had a dream. In the dream, she was in a car accident and was being thrown from the car, about to die. And in that moment, Jesus spoke to her and said “Rise.” She woke up, and was sitting straight up in bed, with her newborn next to her sleeping soundly.
She told me she knew it was because of our prayers. She said our prayers had saved her life and brought her an encounter with Jesus. Praise the Lord!!
Just then, she was called out to the dance floor, but before she left, we exchanged numbers. God’s given me another assignment.
We talked to several other women as Carolyn shared the Gospel. And we’ll be back out Saturday night! And all of this after a deliverance session I had with a woman in Holland this morning! God is moving and pursuing!!
