Meet Kelsey

Kelsey wears many hats. She's a mother, minister, evangelist, writer, author, publisher, international speaker, entrepreneur, global mentor, and world traveler. Kelsey is also a hope dealer and joy ambassador, and goes wherever God leads! 

Kelsey began her writing career with her first travel blog in 2010. Nine years later, with three travel blogs under her belt, she published her first memoir, Adventures of Awakening: Alchemizing Pain into Personal Empowerment. Best described as Pretty Woman meets Eat Pray Love, these pages drip with poetry and prose, as Kelsey is blessed with the art of visual storytelling. 

In 2021, Kelsey experienced a radical conversion from New Age, witchcraft and occult lifestyles to a joyous journey with Jesus Christ. She writes about her conversion in the redemptive memoir, Mary Magdalene in the Mirror: Freedom from Demonic Oppression, best described as Mary Magdalene meets Damascus Road.

Kelsey is very forthcoming about her past of which she calls "Babylonian debauchery." She's an overcomer of impossible odds, being freed from addictions, prostitution, demonic torment, sexual, physical, psychological, and cult abuse, as well as, BDSM lifestyles.

Kelsey writes and publishes stories purely for God's glory, through Holy Spirit Happenings Publishing House, her independent publishing company. HSH helps those pregnant with publishing possibilities! 

Kelsey is a strip club outreach minister with Light in Darkness Ministry in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is bold in tackling taboo topics through speaking engagements and social media. She offers gifts of encouragement, discernment, and deliverance.
